Improvisation sections

Performers will be marked separately and assessed on their reactivity and expression in a scene.
Performers are given 1 minute preparation time with a previously unseen news report. They will then deliver it on stage with the use of a microphone. Performers are marked on their resonant tone, vocal modulation and articulation. The difficulty of the report will increase with age.
The Stage Sport Group Section is separated into three back to back rounds of quick thinking drama games with a fourth round reserved for tie breakers if necessary.
Each round, teams will be called from a hat to select their game from the list provided. A game may be selected by teams a maximum of two times per round, so teams are advised to be familiar with multiple games.
Upon selection, the host will explain the game to the audience and provide a suggestion e.g. location where required.
The three rounds are categorised by theme:
ROUND ONE: Foundations
ROUND TWO: Flip the Script!
